Survival mode | Gen 26
iNDiViDUALS

Product branding (2019)

What does it mean to be human in the digital age? Generation 26 of iNDiViDUALS answered with a slow, hybrid lifestyle for a fast future. The collection imagines living with the consequences of global warming through three scenarios, and each one asks the same question: what do you need to survive, and what do you carry with you?

Flood

Floating, puffed volumes, detachable trousers and water-level stripes.

Drought

Covering up, protecting the body, survival pockets for food and water.

Migration

Carrying home with you, storing what you need and caring for others.

Role: Product branding for the full collection, from concept to trims, labels and branded details.. Together with the design team, I created the moodboards to shape the visual direction of the collection.

Product branding

The branding follows the collection’s values: contrast, quality and layering. In a survival scenario every detail has to earn its place, so each branded element is designed to be durable and functional, not just decorative.

Branding, borrowed from a supermarket

In a supermarket, every product tells you what it is, where it comes from and what’s inside. I brought that same clarity to fashion. The labels work like a receipt, a transparent overview of what you’re really buying, from materials and trims to their impact. Every label is made from fabric, so even the branding is built to last.
