Reconstruct the Originals
Daniëlle Cathari made her name by taking vintage Adidas tracksuits apart and rebuilding them into something new. For her F/W 19 collection with Adidas Originals, she took that deconstructed approach into tailoring, playing with contrasts: masculine and feminine, cozy and delicate, sporty and chic.
Window display concept
Everyone needs a strong suit, but everyone also needs time off. So who decided they should look different?
We built the window around that tension. Soft, overflowing elements spill through the space, carrying the ease of the tracksuit and the slow pace of a day off. Amber glass vases bring in warmth and quiet refinement, the polished side of the power suit. Linear brushstrokes cut through it all, echoing the hand-painted Three Stripes of the collection and tying every element back to the brand. The result is a window where comfort and confidence meet, inviting passers-by into a world where the suit and the tracksuit finally speak the same language.
Role: Concept development and visual direction of the window design.
